Bestard Familiy Studio Shoot

The weather has been... well let's just say tricky lately here in Vernon. We had planned for an outdoor family shoot for the Bestard's this week but decided last minute to pull inside and do a studio shoot. We went portable so we set up backdrop and light in Neil and Jenna's kitchen/living room and then it was pretty much "lights and fast paced action" as everyone took turns in front of the camera. Lots of fun. Good to have you in Vernon for a while Gwen and nice to see you wonderful parents again. Hopefully Alyshia can join in next time.

Tourand, Family Photo Session

For the self proclaimed hockey family, the Tourand's, it was hard to find time to get everyone together for a family shoot but the perseverance paid off on Sunday where we all met in the studio for a great session. The first photos in the series is obviously a photoshop composite. We were trying to redo a shot I did with the Tourand's about five years ago with a similar setup with everyone lying on the ground in park setting. The studio version is different of course but it was fun trying recreate it.

Sofie, Jeff and the kids - Family Photo Session

It is cold and dark outside here at the end of November so we snuck into my studio on Sunday afternoon for a family shoot with Sofie, Jeff and the kids. Sofie and Jeff wanted to capture the first steps of their youngest, a family portrait and individual portraits. We had a great time and the everyone seemed to enjoy a moment in the spotlight.
